Prince George leaves royal fans in awe over key detail in latest appearance

Prince George is taking a major leap as he steps in to royal duties just weeks before his 13th birthday, and fans noticed a key detail in the outing.

The future monarch had accompanied his mother Princess Kate on Saturday to honour Armed Forced Day by learning about the “extraordinary history” about the Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby.

According to royal tradition, the heir to the throne begins their royal training and official protocols are implemented as soon as they turn 13. Prince William had also stepped out for his first engagement at that age, but it seems that George is eager to embrace the role.

“Oh my...prince George is growing up and into his role as heir to the throne. Wonderful,” one fan wrote on Instagram under the Kensington Palace post.

However, royal fans could stop gushing over how fast George has been growing and how he is “almost as tall as his mother”. Princess Kate is exactly 5 feet 9 inches tall, which means George would be around the same height.

“Prince George is so tall now, and it's been lovely watching the Wales children grow over the years,” another expressed.

Meanwhile, royal watchers on X also shared similar sentiments.
