King Charles has seemingly left his heir, Prince William, hurt with a bombshell decision about Prince Harry amid preparations for Birmingham event.

The 77-year-old offered the Duke of Sussex another chance by unlocking the doors William bolted shut after the former working royal's attacks on senior royals.

The monarch's olive branch to Harry does not mean that he chose the Duke over William in terms of royal succession or official duties.

Instead, the King, who's fighting cancer, reportedly wants to repair his fractured relationship with his estranged son in his life as time is running out.

He's, indeed, desperate to spend some moments with his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

However, Prince William is deeply resentful of his brother's past actions.

The Duke sparked frustration and fury from his brother for his decision to mention him and Princess Catherine in his book, Spare.

Now the monarch has made decisive decision after growing tired of the long-standing estrangement.

He has even asked the future king, William, to forgive the Duke of Sussex as the monarch wants to foster family ties and maintain a relationship with Harry’s children.

"The Prince of Wales holds a massive grudge over past comments Harry made against the royal family and is irritated by King Charles's recent willingness to facilitate Harry's visits to the UK," a royal insider has claimed.

"William may reportedly view any soft stance or concessions from his father as a betrayal," they added.

It's to mention here that official succession remains unchanged as the monarch cannot alter it.

This requires UK parliamentary action. Prince William remains the heir to the throne as the eldest son of the King.
