Queen Camilla gets special honour in fresh announcement: ‘New chapter’

Queen Camilla has been given a special honour after she made clear demands in front of King Charles about Prince Harry's meeting.

It has been announced by Brontë Birthplace that the King’s wife has accepted their invitation to become patron of the historic landmark.

For the unversed, it was the birthplace of Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë, as well as brother Branwell.

In a statement released on their official Instagram handle, their spokesperson shared that a new royal chapter has begun.

The message reads, “We are delighted to announce that Her Majesty Queen Camilla has accepted an invitation to become Royal Patron of the Brontë Birthplace.

“In a remarkable coincidence, exactly one year after Her Majesty visited the Birthplace and signed a Be More Brontë postcard, a letter arrived from Buckingham Palace confirming her acceptance of the role as we prepared to celebrate our first anniversary.”

Queen Camilla becoming a part of Brontë Birthplace has been welcomed by their team, volunteers, supporters and community, who jointly achieved this mission.

Chair of the Brontë Birthplace, Cathy Boyden, said, "Her Majesty's patronage is a wonderful endorsement of what has been achieved so far and gives us great encouragement as we look to the future."

It is important to mention that Queen Camilla’s latest honour update came to light after it was revealed that the Queen urged King Charles to let him be part of any kind of conversation he would have with his son Harry during the Sussexes’ much talked-about UK trip.
