Kate Middleton ‘rejects' invite to Taylor Swift's wedding with Travis Kelce

Princess Kate and William will not be attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's highly anticipated wedding.

Rumours gained momentum after the Prince of Wales jokingly said he was hoping for an invitation during an appearance on Heart Breakfast in May.

When asked if he had received a wedding invite, William laughed off the question before teasing that he was "hoping" one might arrive.

However, it has now been confirmed that the Prince and Princess of Wales will not be among the star-studded guests at the celebrity ceremony.

Although they won't be celebrating the couple's big day in person, Prince William's connection with the global music icon spans more than a decade.

Their friendship dates back to 2013, when they shared the stage with Jon Bon Jovi at the Centrepoint Winter Whites Gala at Kensington Palace for a memorable performance of Livin' on a Prayer.

The bond was renewed in 2024 when William celebrated his birthday by taking Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert at Wembley Stadium.

The future King stole the spotlight after being spotted enthusiastically dancing to Shake It Off, while Princess Charlotte proudly showed off her love for the singer.

Following the concert, Swift delighted fans by posting a backstage selfie with Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, alongside another photo featuring Travis Kelce with the royal family.
