Princess Kate's elegant Wimbledon weekend was about more than tennis

The Princess of Wales received one of the warmest welcomes of the summer when she returned to Wimbledon alongside Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, with the Centre Court crowd rising to its feet in a spontaneous standing ovation.

As the Wales family entered the Royal Box for the Gentlemen's Singles Final, the applause echoed around the stadium, demonstrating the deep respect and affection Kate has inspired over the past year.

Among those watching were stars including Nicole Kidman, Anna Wintour, Raye, Rami Malek and Sienna Miller, who joined the crowd in welcoming the future Queen.

This year's Championships marked her first Wimbledon appearance since announcing that she had recovered from cancer, making her return to one of her favourite sporting events especially meaningful.

Beaming as she took her seat, Kate was glowing in Emilia Wickstead dress paired with a wide-brimmed hat, while Princess Charlotte coordinated beautifully in a blue ruffled dress.

Prince George was also seated beside Prince William, the young royal mirrored the Prince of Wales' polished look.

Just days earlier, Kate delighted tennis fans with an unexpected visit to Wimbledon, where she met spectators waiting in the famous queue ahead of the tournament.
