BTS ARMY is wondering if V’s reported minor car accident was more than just an accident.
Despite reports that the K-pop sensation is safe, the news has sparked concern throughout the fandom.
Some supporters have begun speculating online about what may have caused the collision.
As V, 30, has previously been the target of online harassment and threats, a number of fans questioned whether the incident could have been intentional.
One fan wrote on X, "What kind of incident is this? I hope it wasn't intentional. Tae has received so many threats over the years. Please stay safe."
Another commented, "I hope this wasn't a deliberate act by haters wanting to harm Taehyung. May God protect him."
However, there is currently no evidence supporting that theory, and no authorities or official representatives have suggested foul play.
Many other fans urged the community not to jump to conclusions and to wait for verified information.
Based on the information currently circulating, the incident appears to have been a minor rear-end collision.
Fans were relieved after reports said V emerged from the accident unharmed and walked the remaining short distance to his hotel.
The incident occur after BTS’ s ongoing ARIRANG World Tour stop at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, August 2.
