King Charles team marks special birthday after hosting Meghan in UK

Royal Family marked the birthday of a very special member, releasing rare photos on social media.

It is important to note that Meghan Markle is also celebrating her 45th birthday today, August 4, with Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

On the same day, a key royal figure, the Queen Mother, was also born.

The official Instagram page of Royal Collection Trust shared a few iconic pictures from the past to commemorate the occasion.

"Lady Elizabeth Bowes Lyon (the future Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother) was born on this day in 1900," the message reads.

Another post by Glamis Castle, childhood home of Queen Mary, was shared on social media to honour Elizabeth II's mother.

The statement reads, "Although she is often thought to have been born at Glamis Castle, it was from the age of four that Glamis became her childhood home, shaping many of her happiest memories and earliest experiences.

"To mark her birthday, we've delved into the Glamis archives to share a collection of rare photographs that trace her journey from childhood through to adulthood."
