King Charles makes bold move for Andrew with Balmoral invite amid health fears

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has reportedly been invited to Balmoral to 'play golf' as King Charles fears for his younger brother's wellbeing amid continued public scrutiny over his past associations with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The former prince, who became a grandfather for the fifth time after Princess Eugenie gave birth to her third child, has reportedly been asked to spend time at the royal estate in Scotland.

The princesses of York have also been invited to the annual royal gathering at Balmoral in the coming weeks, despite reports of Prince William’s preference to keep them at a distance from core royal duties.

It remains to be seen whether Eugenie will attend with her newborn, who is 15th in line to the throne, giving Andrew the chance to meet his newest grandchild.

The speculation comes amid reports that she has distanced herself from her father during the ongoing controversy.The former prince was asked to vacate Royal Lodge and later relocated to the Sandringham Estate after being stripped of his royal titles and patronages.

According to the Daily Mail's Ephraim Hardcastle column, he has been made aware he would be welcome for a seasonal break on the Aberdeenshire estate.

The column notes that King Charles is "acutely conscious of the poor state of Andrew's mental health" and that time at Balmoral would allow him to remain "unseen" while using the golf course and enjoying a "stress-free change."

However, there are caveats. Insiders claim the invitation has not yet been accepted, and Andrew would only travel to Scotland after King Charles and Queen Camilla have departed.
