Ariana Grande has recently been swarmed with comments about her body after she experienced what seemed to be a drastic weight loss, and Piers Morgan has joined the conversation to show his support.

The broadcaster issued a message for the pop superstar, which said, “I've no idea what's going on with Ariana Grande but I do know, after spending a random evening with her in a Beverly Hills restaurant a few years ago, that she's a genuinely great person: intelligent, funny, engaging, and of course, supremely talented."

Morgan continued, "Fame at her pop superstar level can be a very difficult and lonely place. So, I urge all the trolls currently making her life a misery with this constant chuntering about her appearance to back off and give her the space she needs to sort herself out.”

Fans flocked to the comments and amplified the message, writing, "you'll never find anyone who met her and dislikes her. she's so incredibly kind and that's one of the main reasons why we all stan her."

Another added, "If someone as crooked as him gets it, none of yall are excused," referring to Morgan's controversial standing.

A third agreed, "You know the internet scrutiny has gone completely out of hand when PIERS MORGAN is the voice of reason. Leave Ariana alone already."

More added, "Fame at that level can be brutal. Whatever someone thinks about her appearance, constantly tearing apart a real person’s body online is just cruel. Let her breathe," and "yes the trolls should back off, but some of us really genuinely concern about her health without making fun of her, she needs help asap, hoping the best for Ari."
