Zayn Malik confirms new collaboration after BLACKPINK Jisoo's 'Eyes Closed'

Zayn Malik fans are already counting down the days as the singer is officially gearing up for his next musical collaboration.

The former One Direction star is set to feature on Heaven Baby, a brand-new pop ballad with Nigerian singer-songwriter Ayra Starr.

On Thursday, August 6, the Dusk TiIl Dawn hitmaker reposted Ayra’s video of revealing the song name on his own Instagram Stories.

The track will appear as Track 14 on her highly anticipated third studio album, titled Starrgirl, which is scheduled for release on August 14.

Excitement surrounding the collaboration reached a fever pitch after the Die For Me singer and Ayra unexpectedly swapped their Instagram profile pictures earlier.

The playful social media move quickly went viral, with fans turning on their detective mode. Many correctly guessed that the pair had teamed up on new music.

The 24-year-old songstress, whose real name is Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, further fueled anticipation by changing her profile photos across multiple social media platforms to tease several of the album's featured artists, including Wizkid, Rema, Leon Thomas and Danny Ocean, building buzz ahead of the album's release.

Notably, Heaven Baby marks Zayn's first collaboration since teaming up with Blackpink’s Jisoo on Eyes Closed.

The upcoming song also arrives following Zayn's most recent full-length album, Konnakol, released on April 17.
