Prince Harry, Meghan Markle issued serious warning about Montecito home

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoyed a delightful summer in the Europe before they returned to their Montecito mansion to continue with their schedules.

However, the couple could be forced to leave their home in near future as experts warn that weather forecast indicates that the neighbourhood could be affected by the monsoon season.

According to a report, there is a serious risk of serious flood and mudslide danger this autumn. Locals in the La Vuelta neighbourhood near San Ysidro Creek recently met Santa Barbara County officials to demand urgent flood-control measures amid fears of a “super El Niño”.

The area is very close to Harry and Meghan’s gated community. The multi-million-dollar mansions sits near the waterways that triggered the deadly 2018 debris flows which killed 23 people.

While the Montecito Journal reveal that the government plans are in place for a long-term solution to the issue, the locals are still worried about the situation.

The Sussexes have been living in their mansion since 2021, a year after they had exited the royal family. The couple reportedly have a holiday home in Montecito but they have not publicly confirmed it.

In case of an emergency, they could find temporary refuge there or stay at a friend nearby. The Harry and Meghan have many close friends in California and they also frequent New York. It is likely that they would prefer to stay in the country if the situation arises.
