Prince Harry, Meghan forced to leave behind Archie's beloved project in US

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may not have a long-term plan to stay in the UK as they place a key plan for their Montecito mansion in place before making their move back.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into their multi-million-mansion in 2021, and now six years after leaving the UK, they will be returning, reportedly in a private residence in Cotswold. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will be starting school next month.

However, the Sussexes would be leaving behind their chickens at home. The chicken coop — lovingly named ‘Archie's Chick Inn’ – was first shown in the Netflix docuseries. According to a report by The Sun, Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland will be staying in the US.

Although, their dogs Mia and Pula will accompany the family while household staff will look after the birds.

Sources close to the Sussexes have stressed that the couple will not only keep their California home but also their holiday home in Portugal. They are expected to keep regular visits to both locations as the duration of their stay in Britain remains uncertain.

According to some reports, the move is set to last between six months to a year as they navigate their circumstances. Although, no official statement has been made on the matter.
