Princess Beatrice, Edoardo to take big step for kids despite controversy

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi will be making a shift in for the sake of their children despite the controversy surrounding their grace-and-favour home.

In the report published by the National Audit Office, it was revealed that King Charles personally pays the rent for his non-working nieces, which did not sit right with the British public. Especially given the ongoing investigation with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, granting a big favour became a “sensitive” debate.

However, Beatrice’s family does not seem to worried about it, even though she and her sister Princess Eugenie have received calls to step down from their royal positions.

Edoardo seemed to have cleared the air about where they stand with the royals in a rare interview with The Times. While the couple lives in Cotswold, they still use their St James’s Palace home due to school commitments.

And as schools will reopen soon, the family is moving back into their London royal home. The excerpt revealed that Edo sees the site often when he “walks his youngest to school from their grace-and-favour apartment in St James’s Palace and then proceeds to his design studio on the King’s Road”.

Meanwhile, Beatrice was reportedly looking for schools for her “bonus son” Wolfie, and had eyed Eton College for him. If Wolfie is to join the posh school, the St James’s home would be ideal for the family given how convenient it would be to do school runs.
