Prince William gets King Charles approval amid Sussexes security turmoil

The Royal Household has been left in an uncomfortable situation with the return of the Duke of Sussex in a very close proximity to Prince William, who is still furious with his estranged brother.

The Prince of Wales, who was reportedly taken by surprise when Harry decided to return, has not been too keen on his father’s decision to welcome Harry back. The future King is seriously concerned over what move the Sussexes would play next.

As a doting father and grandfather, Charles is “genuinely happy” happy that his younger son is in UK which allows him more time to spend with his grandchildren.

But as the monarch, he is “dreading the prospect of Harry resurrecting his battle with the Home Office over security and the sense that the Harry-and-Meghan soap opera is about to start all over again”, a royal source revealed to Vanity Fair. Harry's team has already locked horns with RAVEC and a decision is yet to made.

Moreover, Palace aides have confirmed that even though there was ‘no summit’ on the matter,discussions have taken place. And William has received the King’s approval over a strict condition for the Sussexes.

“[William] has sought his father’s assurance there will be no changes to the present situation,” the source said in reference to Harry and Meghan being working royals.

“Prince William is very concerned about the Sussexes coming back and why they have made the decision so quickly,” the source added. “He is adamant the situation must remain as it is and that Harry and Meghan will not carry out royal engagements.”

As far as reconciliation is concerned, Prince William has no plans to see his brother even if their father has opened the doors for Harry.
