Miley Cyrus has announced her new album, Bass Persuades, out in two weeks.

On Tuesday, August 1, the 33-year-old pop icon — who recently dropped her last name from her public profiles — revealed that the album will be released on September 18th, followed by two Hollywood Bowl concerts where she will perform the entire album live.

Sharing the inspiration behind the album, Miley shared on Instagram, “Music takes hold of us. We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong.”

The Grammy-winner added, “Heart full, heartache, every part of life in between. That’s what the title means to me.”

Miley concluded the announcement by thanking fans for “making my wildest dreams come true.”

In a follow-up announcement, Miley revealed that she will perform two shows at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA, where she will play the album live, marking her first live performance in “a while.”

“The Hollywood Bowl is my favorite place to experience music and see my favorite artists,” she wrote. “I’ve sat in those seats many times, but I’ve never taken the stage. LA is my heart and I’m bringing it home. See you there.”

The album will be Miley’s first ever since she signed with Atlantic Records. It follows her 2025 album, Something Beautiful, and her 2023 album, Endless Summer Vacation, which earned Miley her first two Grammy awards.
