Harry, Meghan's latest move reignites tension: Warning issued

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s UK move is a new chapter for them, and for Britons as well, amid their fight for security and privacy.

The family of four has a plan to settle in the Cotswolds, located about two hours outside London.

The parents in the area have reportedly received warning letters from school officials after the Sussexes "approached multiple schools" for their kids.

"The message sent to families essentially said that, from time to time, some families joining the school may attract a greater level of public or media interest," Schofield told Page Six.

The message reportedly reminded parents and carers not to photograph or film other children without permission, or share photographs, information or details about pupils or their families on social media.

The poputlet did not identify the school that sent the letters, citing privacy concerns, but reported that it is not the school Archie and Lilibet are attending.

Harry and Markle have long tried to shield their children from uncontrolled public exposure.

 However, royal experts told Fox News Digital that school life presents a different challenge because it places Archie and Lilibet’s privacy partly in the hands of other parents, classmates and the broader community.

It may be difficult for Harry and Markle to manage their children’s privacy in everyday settings.

"School introduces an enormous number of variables Harry and Meghan cannot control," Kinsey Schofield said.

"Other parents have phones. Children have friends. There are school events, sporting fixtures, birthday parties, drop-offs, and pick-ups," Schofield added. "You cannot manage a school community like a communications operation."

"None of those requests are unreasonable," Schofield continued.

She went on to explain that the Sussexes kids deserve exactly the same opportunity as every other child to go to school without feeling watched. But inevitably, when one family attracts this level of global attention, the entire school community becomes more conscious of what it photographs, posts, and discusses.

While speaking with Fox News Digital, royal expert Hilary Fordwich pointed out that Meghan shares her children's pictures on her own social media, adding that it was "beyond hypocritical to on the one hand want ‘privacy’ yet, on the other hand, monetize their family."

Reacting to the claims, the Sussexes' spokesperson said in June: "The Duchess has always been clear that there is a distinction between sharing moments from her life and exposing her children to public scrutiny," 

The expert also contrasted the Sussexes’ approach with that of Prince William and Kate Middleton, who typically release official images of Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8, on birthdays and other milestones.
