Taylor Swift's latest update has stirred up the hope for a live The Life of a Showgirl performance among fans, which they have been waiting for all year.

The 36-year-old pop superstar has sparked speculations about attending the VMAs happening on September 27, which could mark a historical moment in her career.

Swift, who is the most nominated artist of the night, needs to win only one of those awards to become the most awarded artist in the history of VMAs.

The Opalite hitmaker's management account, Taylor Nation, themselves have been promoting the fan voting and taking to social media, they wrote, "VMA actually stands for vote mother always."

Taylor Nation officially posting about the voting has convinced fans that Swift would be in attendance, and they flocked to X, writing, "SHE IS ATTENDING SO GO VOTE NOW."

Another hoped, "Are we finally getting that ophelia live performance?????" and "We need that ophelia performance asap," wrote one.

While one chimed in, "I can't stand to see her go home empty-handed like at the Grammys, so vote!" and another wrote, "I’m so glad she’s attending cause fan voted awards shows are known for giving awards only if the artists attend."
