Prince Harry, Meghan Markle team reacts to key royal appearance

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's team gave a strong response amid rumours of the couple's joint appearance at a key royal event.

It has been said that the Duchess of Sussex may join her husband at a forthcoming Diana Awards ceremony.

Shedding light on the rumours on The Royals with Roya and Kate podcast, Kate Mansey quoted the Sussexes' team's reaction to the possibility of Meghan joining Harry.

Kate revealed, "Now, I went to the Sussexes and said, 'What do you make of these reports? Is it correct that we're going to expect to see Harry and Meghan at this event together? And they said, 'Absolutely not.'"

Kate also quoted the importance of such an event from a PR perspective, but Meghan is reportedly taking each step quite carefully. 

"In terms of PR? It's clever, isn't it? Because everybody's expecting to see her," the royal commentator said.

The Duchess of Sussex knows about the value of public appearances, especially now that they are in the UK. She will choose her outings "very carefully."
