Lucy Dacus has excited fans beyond measure with an unexpected announcement as she nears the conclusion of her tour.

The 31-year-old indie musician took to Instagram on Tuesday, September 8, and told her fans, “No Thank You, I Love You, Goodbye. surprise, out tonight, long overdue.”

The Night Shift hitmaker will be releasing the song at midnight, and fans all gathered on social media to celebrate.

One excited fan exclaimed, "LUCY???" while another wrote, "lucy dacus announced she’s releasing a song tonight hehe."
