Jury shown video of 130 mph crash that left 6 dead in Windsor Hills as trial opens

During a murder trial over the 2022 Windsor Hills fatal crash, a jury was shown video of a 130-mph collision that left six people dead.

The graphic video of a high-speed crash that happened in the Windsor Hills neighbourhood was presented in Los Angeles courtroom on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

The crash involves a nurse, named as Nicole Linton, is charged with six counts of murder and five counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.

The crash took place on August 4, 2022, resulted in injuring eight people.

According to the prosecutors, Linton, 37, then pressed the car accelerator for at least five seconds before colliding her car into multiple vehicles at the Slauson and La Brea avenues at a speed of 130 mph.

The murder charges are linked to the deaths of Asherey Ryan, 23, the unborn child she was carrying, her 11-month-old son Alonzo Quintero, her fiancé Reynold Lester, Nathesia Lewis and her friend Lynette Noble.

Ryan, who was in her third trimester, along with her son Alonzo and Lester, was heading for a prenatal appointment when the speeding Mercedes smashed into their vehicle and burst into flames.

The tragic crash left no survivors, including Ryan’s unborn baby.

Family members representing the victims were in court on Tuesday, but once the graphic video was played out, many left the courtroom.

Following the crash, Linton was arrested and got her licence suspended after court orders.

The 39-year-old Linton faces murder charges, has pleaded not guilty.

The Windsor Hills murder trial is expected to last atleast six weeks before jurors begin deliberation, and if convicted, Linton could face life imprisonment.
