Julien Baker seems to have been working on a solo project while her band Boygenius is on a hiatus, and other bandmembers Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus, have also been focusing on their solo careers.

The 30-year-old indie rockstar has announced a live show in Nashville, Tennessee at The Blue Room, and also dropped cryptic clues hinting at the announcement of new music. 

Baker wiped her social media clean, save for two posts and launched a new Instagram account, julienbakerhq, which shared footage of the singer from the studio.

As soon as the news began to spread all across social media, fans flocked together and cried in unison, "new reason to live: julien baker album."

Another added, "I COULD CRY RIGHT NOW."

While a third chimed in, "lucy dacus julien baker phoebe bridgers welcome home."

More shared their excitement, "wdym there’s hints at the possibility of a fourth julien baker album…. WHAT DO YOU MEAN !!!!" and "JULIEN BAKER ALBUM 4 ANOUNCEMENT PLEASE GOD."

One exclaimed, "I CANT BE NORMAL JULIEN BAKER IS BACK," while someone mused, "if i see julien baker live this year all of my suffering will have been worth something."
