The Duke of Sussex confirmed to attend the 2026 WellChild Awards in London on 21 September.

As Patron of WellChild, Harry will reunite with seriously ill children, young people and their families at the  ceremony.

The Duke will also deliver a speech reflecting on the importance of the charity's work.

“It is always a privilege to be part of the Awards,” Harry said, praising the “extraordinary children, young people, families and professionals” whose courage continues to inspire him.

He also paid tribute to two decades of the WellChild Nurse programme, describing the anniversary as special and how the initiative has supported thousands of kids and families in helping them live more of their lives at home.

WellChild Chief Executive Matt James said the charity was “delighted” to welcome Harry back.

Last year's ceremony at London's Royal Lancaster Hotel attracted a host of celebrity supporters, including Molly-Mae Hague, Ronnie Wood, Jamie Laing and Peter Andre, while performances from Joss Stone and the cast of Hercules added to the occasion.
