Queen Camilla left in shock after King Charles receives major life update

Some feathers have been ruffled in the Royal Household following an unfortunate news last week as King Charles received the update.

Charles reportedly was left heartbroken and so was Queen Camilla, but both for very different reasons.

The monarch was understood to be deeply upset by the passing of his former girlfriend, Davina Sheffield, who had once been tipped to be the future Queen of England.

Meanwhile, Camilla was in shock to hear that Davina was being dubbed as Charles’s “soulmate” despite being married for more than two decades.

“Camilla was profoundly upset to hear Davina described as Charles’s soulmate,” a royal insider revealed to New Idea. “It was a shock to hear another woman be described as his ‘soulmate’. For the past 30 years, Charles has told her in no uncertain terms that she was his ‘soulmate’.”

The insider explained that Charles “wouldn’t have risked the huge scandal that came with the biggest divorce of the 20th century” if Camilla wasn’t something important.

“Her nose is out of joint over this assumption about Davina, and Charles has been on the back foot with her questions.”

Camilla is being a supportive wife to Charles like she has always been, especially during his cancer treatments. However, she wants the ‘soulmate’ headlines and comparisons to stop now.

Davina Sheffield, passed away at the age of 75 last week following a short illness. The news was confirmed by her three sons, Tom, Billy and Henry. She was famously anticipated to marry Charles but since royal protocol dictated that the future King should choose an “unblemished” bride.
