Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to have found their place for recreation following their return to the Britain and they are aiming to maintain their luxury lifestyle.

There is a cold war ongoing between the Sussexes and the royals, particularly with the Prince and Princess of Wales when it comes to position in the elite circles of the UK. It was believed that Meghan was setting a precedent for how she planned on having her 2.0 experience.

However, it never came without any risks, knowing fully well that this was after all the royals’ turf.

Meghan and Harry were spotted at the membership-only Soho House just days after King Charles had confirmed their status as “private citizens”. The couple had brunch at together at the facility before that Harry had used the gym.

Prior to that, Meghan had made a solo visit to the place where she was received which “much fanfare”. The club has been known for its exclusivity and as been a symbol of social standing for years, but new problem has emerged.

“Soho House is firmly Team Meghan,” a London insider told Rob Shuter. “In certain circles, being seen there now feels like making a statement: Meghan over Catherine. People don’t want their dinner reservation interpreted as a royal allegiance.”

Reports have claimed that members were already making complains about the retreat getting overcrowded and the “truly chic crowd was already drifting away”.

“Meghan didn’t cause the decline. But her return has turned an existing image problem into a cultural one. Soho House suddenly feels political,” they added. “If Meghan makes Soho Farmhouse her regular playground, it becomes ground zero.”

The insider claimed that there were only two end results to this: Either Meghan “makes it hot again”, or “folks loyal to Catherine and William run for the hills”.
