All eyes will be on Prince William and Princess Catherine after bombshell revelations are made public about a painful history in the royal family.
Prince William and King Charles have had their ups and downs in the past, but in the recent time, the father-son duo had to come together to take important decisions for the monarchy.
However, William would have to put up a brave face after Princess Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer recalled an astonishing call between him and the then-Prince Charles. The couple is expected to carry things on as usual to move away from any controversy.
The Prince and Princess of Wales, who also hold the titles of the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland, will be carrying out their first official visit to Isle of Bute. The itinerary includes a visit to the town of Rothesay. It follows their visits to the Isles of Mull and Iona last year.
Moreover, this will be the first outing since an excerpt from Charles Spencer’s book about Princess Diana, Swan Song, described how William and Harry’s father said that the world would forger the late princess “soon enough”.
King Charles issued a fiery statement via Buckingham Palace suggesting that Earl Spencer may also have recollections that may vary.
“While we do not comment on books as a matter of principle, His Majesty is mindful that the pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment and colour memory in ways others do not recognise, even many years after such a loss,” the statement read.
This is just the beginning as Palace fears there would be more bombshells on the way.
Meanwhile, the Duke of Sussex is expected to make his first public appearance in the UK to attend an even for the Invictus Games.
