Zara Tindall becomes proud spectator as Mia takes on Blenheim showjumping course

Mia Tindall enjoyed a special day in the saddle at the Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials, with her mum Zara Tindall watching proudly from the sidelines.

The 12-year-old royal was wearing a fitted riding jacket, tall boots and a black riding helmet with her hair neatly tied back. She competed with her horse, Bunny Two Twirls, tackling the showjumping course with confidence.

While Zara is no stranger to the competition arena, having built an impressive career as an Olympic equestrian, the roles were reversed this time. 

The proud mother watched from the sidelines and even helped care for Mia’s horse between rounds.

Zara previously revealed that both Mia and her younger sister, Lena, had started riding from a young age.

In a 2019 interview with Now To Love, she joked that Lena was still very much a passenger, while Mia had already been given her own pony.

"They both ride. Lena is in a little basket on the saddle, purely a passenger. But we just bought Mia a new pony called Magic," Princess Anne's daughter said at the time.
