Charles Spencer reveals what Princess Diana told him before death

In a heartbreaking revelation, Prince Harry's uncle Charles Spencer has opened up about the silent pain endured by the UK's most beloved Princess during her final years.

Spencer has shared how his beloved sister Princess Diana was deeply hurt by the behaviour and hidden intentions of those around her, and has now disclosed the shocking truth his sister confided in him shortly before her tragic death, a secret that sheds new light on what Princess Diana, mother to Prince William and Prince Harry, was truly going through after her divorce from Charles.

Earl Spencer claims that Diana told him that Al Fayed groped her early on in her romance with his son Dodi.

According to reports, the Earl writes: “[Diana] told me with revulsion how, early in her romance with Dodi, Al Fayed had come up to her, dropped a hand onto her back and squeezed them while saying in a leery, suggestive tone, ‘And in Egypt, father-in-law gets first go...’”

The Metropolitan Police are reportedly dealing with allegations against Al Fayed dating from 1977 to 2014.

The Earl writes in his Diana memoir that she disliked Al Fayed, who is at the centre of more than 400 allegations of misconduct. The former Harrods boss died in 2023 at the age of 94.

Dodi and Diana were both killed in a car crash in a Paris tunnel on August 31, 1997.

Al Fayed commissioned a bronze statue of the pair to go on display at Harrods when he was the owner of the posh department store. It was called Innocent Victims.
