Taylor Swift's new cover connected to her engagement ring?

Taylor Swift gave her fans something new to talk about after showing the cover for her upcoming song Patient Zero.

Swift recently announced that the song will be released on September 25.

She also revealed The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, a special version of her 2025 album with four new songs.

As usual, Swift was leaving clues before sharing the news. Fans, however, spotted hints in her social media posts, earlier music video and even her appearance at the 2026 Emmys.

But now, fans are looking at one small detail in the new artwork.

Swift appears to be wearing a ring in the photo, but it does not look like the engagement ring Travis Kelce gave to her.

Kelce proposed to Swift in 2025 with a 10 carat old mine cut diamond ring as the ring was designed by jeweler Kindred Lubeck of Artifex with Kelce.

The ring, moreover, seen in the new artwork looks silver and has a square stone.

Fans also noticed that it didn’t have the same design as Swift’s real engagement ring.

One person said, "This isn’t her real engagement ring because that one is gold and this ring on the cover is very clearly silver. It also doesn’t have all the engraving on the band like her real one does."

Another fan wrote, "The photo is smooth and silver, her engagement ring is gold & engraved. They are very much two different rings!"

A third fan added, "Who is gonna tell miss swift that that is in fact not her engagement ring," leaving others wondering about the ring seen in the artwork.
