Katie Price says she makes regular visits to mum Amy in hospital

Katie Price has shared the latest health update on her mother, revealing that she is looking after her after previously begging her to 'find the strength to stay.'

Amy, 74, was diagnosed with the terminal lung disease Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) in 2017.

IPF 'is a condition in which the lungs become scarred and breathing becomes increasingly difficult', the NHS state.

Speaking on The Katie Price Podcast, Katie and her sister Sophie talked about their mother's current condition.

During the chat, Sophie said: “I’ve not been back in long, I’ve been at the hospital today with mum.”

Katie replied: “I was there yesterday, all day… honestly, between us all we’re trying hard.”

Addressing Sophie, she added: “You get brownie points, you’ve been going more. Not that it’s brownie points.” 

The health update comes after the reality star shared that she is planning to have a £4,000 cast made of her mum’s hand done while she visits her in hospital.

It also comes as Katie is set to get her driving license back after getting banned from driving for the seventh time.
