Johnny Depp raises a toast before pulling off bizarre leaf stunt

Johnny Depp gave photographers a funny surprise while attending a food and drink festival in Las Vegas.

The 63-year-old actor was at Park MGM for DRINK Las Vegas. He was seen enjoying the event and raising a glass with other guests.

But when it was time for photos, Depp decided to have some fun with the backdrop behind him.

He was standing in front of a large fake green hedge when he suddenly pulled a leaf off with his teeth.

Depp then put the leaf in his mouth and smiled for the cameras. After a short moment, he spat it out and went for another part of the hedge.

This time, he bit off a stem with several leaves and posed with the greenery hanging from his mouth.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star looked amused as he raised his glass for the photographers.

Depp wore a black vest, orange sunglasses and a cowboy hat for the event.

He was also joined at the festival by other famous guests, including Shaquille O’Neal and Sammy Hagar.

The playful moment comes after years of Depp being known for his wild side.

His drinking habits have also been talked about over the years. In 2025, Alice Cooper said Depp stayed away from alcohol while they toured together.

Later that year, Depp was seen drinking during an interview with the Times of London.
