BTS Jimin first TikTok video sends fans into meltdown: ‘We're not okay'

Park Jimin of BTS surprised his fans with a special treat following the triple win at MTV’s Music Video Awards on Sunday.

The Like Crazy singer, who is currently on his break alongside other members of the group, had sparked curiosity about his possible return to the video-sharing platform TikTok, where he was active previously.

An official account had emerged quietly few weeks ago, and finally the K-pop idol dropped his first video on the app, and fans collectively had a meltdown.

The video plays to the background to Jimin’s solo song, Be Mine, which was released in 2024, as part of his second solo mini-album MUSE.

He offers a fresh rendition of the choreography as the sun sets in the background. The scene seems familiar to when the group had been in Las Vegas for their concert dates earlier this month.

The fan reaction had been explosive as anticipated with the video racking up close to 400K likes in less than an hour and 60k shares. The video also became a trend on Twitter and Instagram.

“OMG WE’RE NOT OKAY,” exclaimed one fan under the video, whereas others kept checking up on “Jimin stans” if they were okay following the video drop.

“WE WON GIRL, THATS IT,” virtually squealed another.

“He really came back with #ThisIsJimin and Be Mine, oh my [crying emoji], “My precious Min, I love him so much!”
