Prince Harry, Palace divided again ahead of Camilla-Diana milestones

Buckingham Palace and Prince Harry's relationship have been on and off due to their differing priorities since the couple relocated to the US after quitting the royal jobs in 2020.

The Duke of Sussex is said to be planning to mark the 30th anniversary of his mother Princess Diana's death, which could clash with Queen Camilla's 80th birthday just weeks earlier.

The two milestones could create yet another potentially awkward moment for the divided family.

Harry, 42, is exploring ways to honour his mother ahead of August 31, 2027, three decades after Diana died aged 36 following a car crash in Paris, which insiders say could include the release of a tell-all documentary on his mother that may cause a new trouble for the Palace.

Meanwhile Camilla is set to turn 80 on July 17, making two deeply personal royal events likely to fall within six weeks of each other.

Harry's tribute to Diana will attract enormous international attention, but the timing means Camilla's 80th birthday could inevitably find itself overshadowed.

Charles Spencer's new memoir, "Swan Song: Diana, My Sister", has already stirred trouble in the Palace, fueling speculation that Harry's potential documentary may further widen the devide between the Duke and the palace.
