Avengers: Endgame makes shocking box office comeback after 7 years

Avengers: Endgame is back at the top of box office, giving Marvel fans another chance to see the hit movie on big screen.

The movie returned to cinemas as Avengers: Endgame Encore earned around like $26 million in North America over the weekend.

It, however, played in 3,060 cinemas and made $11.2 million on Friday.

The return came seven years after the original movie was released and so this time, Marvel added new clip and extra material as well after the credits.

Some of the new material is related to upcoming movie Avengers: Doomsday.

The extra scenes, moreover, gave fans another reason to watch a movie they already know very well.

The return also came at an important time for Marvel, with the next Avengers movie getting closer.

Robert Pattinson’s new movie Primetime, whereas, opened in second place with about $19 million.

The A24 thriller was very close behind Endgame after making like $2.8 million from early shows and around $6 million on Friday.

Avengers: Endgame Encore also got finished ahead of Brad Pitt’s Heart of the Beast and Forgotten Island.

The strong return of Endgame shows that fans are still very interested in Marvel’s Avengers story.
