Dylan Sprouse, Barbara Palvis share sweet baby update after birth: 'really funny'

Dylan Sprouse is officially in his girl-dad era — and he’s already convinced his newborn daughter has inherited one very specific trait from him.

Just one day after Sprouse and wife Barbara Palvin announced they had welcomed their first child, the Suite Life of Zack & Cody alum revealed their baby girl’s name: Sylvie.

During the September 29 episode of his Wildmen podcast with Brendan Columbus, Sprouse couldn’t stop gushing about his daughter, especially when she opens her eyes, smiles at him and gives him a little glimpse of her personality.

"There's moments when I look at Sylvie, and I'm like, 'This is the coolest thing ever,'" Sprouse said.

"She's looking at me and her eyes are opening. She's got a small wake window during the day and she's looking at me and she smiles or something and it's the cutest thing."

But newborn life isn’t exactly all cuddles.

"Ninety percent of the time right now, it's like having a baby pet monkey," he quipped.

"It is having a pet monkey because she is chirping and making noises and pooping and farting and burping and hiccuping. It's like having a really poopy little animal."

Still, Sprouse is clearly loving every chaotic second of fatherhood. He admitted he didn’t expect to enjoy dressing up his daughter quite this much.

"I got to tell you, I did not expect to like this as much as I do, dressing her up in little fits, dude," he noted.

And apparently, Sylvie is already showing signs of being a Sprouse.

"I will say that she stretches a lot. It's really funny. No matter what she's doing. I was like, 'That's weird cuz I do that s--t,'" Sprouse teased.

"I'm calling it now, I think she might be a little lazy like me. I think she's a lazybones."
