Nigel Farage issues deportation warning to Meghan in cheeky dig

British politician Nigel Farage has sparked laughter with brutal deportation warning to Prince Harry's wife Meghan Markle.

The Leader of Reform UK joked that he might try to deport the Duchess of Sussex if he becomes prime minister, saying she is 'using her wiles' on her 'weak' husband Harry.

He lashed out at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's behaviour as an 'absolute disgrace' and accused King Charles youngest son of having made a 'bad life choice'.

He added that he now 'felt sorry' for the duke, claiming he had suffered a rapid decline after previously being 'the most popular royal for 100 years'.

 Farage spoke out against the Sussexes following their surprise return to Britain in August, six years after they stepped down as senior working royals and moved to the US.

Appearing on US political commentator Benny Johnson's podcast, Farage said: 'The behaviour of Meghan, of Harry, has been an absolute disgrace. And now they're back in the UK living here for who knows how long and somehow I can't help it.

'I sort of almost now begin to feel a bit sorry for Harry, because it's the classic tale of the weak man and the strong woman who uses her wiles and leads him. Shakespeare was on this, the Bible was on this, there's nothing new in this, it's a classic tale.'

'Harry, his service in Afghanistan, his cheekiness, his loving for a party, lots of pretty girlfriends, he was the most popular royal for 100 years, people loved him.

'There he is now, with Meghan. I think he's made a bad life choice, but I can't wish him ill, because we all get things wrong from time to time. I hope he sorts it out.'

Johnson then left Farage in fits of laughter, as he replied: 'I'm really hope that you do not deport… please, I'm asking you as a friend, do you deport Meghan Markle back to America.

'This is one of the greatest things England has done since giving us our independence, we really appreciate all of this. Our independence from Meghan Markle is actually wonderful.'

Farage joked: 'You might get her back. You might get her back if I'm in charge.'
