Alex Warren reflects on full-circle moment after ‘The Tonight Show' appearance

For Alex Warren, stepping onto the stage of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon was more than another major career milestone.

The Ordinary hitmaker took to Instagram to share a collection of photos from his latest appearance, revealing just how meaningful the experience is.

He appeared on the September 30 episode as the evening’s musical guest, where he performed his emotional ballad Cry Wolf, a deeper cut from his sophomore album, Wildchild.

The Fever Dream singer also sat down for a backstage interview with Jimmy Fallon, discussing the release of Wildchild and the songwriting process behind the new album.

The episode additionally featured actress Anne Hathaway and actor Riz Ahmed.

Alongside the memories from his night at the iconic late-night show, the Grammy nominee wrote, “Growing up I used to watch this show with my mom and I can’t believe I’m here again.”

“THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS MY LIFE. I love you,” he added in the captioned of the montage of photos.

Fans quickly filled the comments with congratulations and emotional messages of their own.

“Congrats sweetie. Your parents would be so incredibly proud x,” one fan wrote.

Another pushed back on the idea that the TikTok famed singer had simply been lucky, writing: “No @alexwarren you did it by yourself and your voice so thank you.”

For Warren, 26, the late-night stage represented a place he once experienced as a viewer alongside his mother and now he was standing on it as the performer.

A full-circle moment, indeed.
