KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Local Bodies, Agha Siraj Durrani Saturday said agreement has been reached Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on 60 percent issues relating to the local bodies legislation while some of the matters still remain to be resolved.
Talking to media men following the meeting of Pakistan People's Party and MQM core committee's meeting, he said the next meeting of the committee would be held on July 16.
He said following the agreement with MQM on local government system, other coalition partners would also be taken into confidence.
"After the agreement is reached on the law relating to Sindh Local Government, it will be presented in the provincial assembly," Agha Siraj Durrani said.
