Citizens kill 2 dacoits in Karachi

KARACHI: Citizens killed two armed men while they attempted a robbery at a shop in Landhi area of Karachi Thursday, Geo News reported. A man who was injured by the dacoits also succumbed to his injuries.

According to sources, two armed robbers entered a sweets’ shop in Landhi No.6 and started looting cash at gunpoint. The locals who were present in the shop called for help while the dacoits opened fire on them that injured one man named Shakir Hussain, who later succumbed to his injuries.

The incident provoked the customers and locals, who then surrounded the culprits and snatched their weapons. The robbers were critically injured when the citizens opened fire on them.

The injured dacoits were taken to Jinnah Hospital where they could not survive. They could not be identified till the last reports.
