KARACHI: Federal Adviser on Interior Affairs Rehman Malik has said that banned outfits would not be allowed to collect Fitrah during the holy month of Ramzan.
Talking to mediamen after meeting President Asif Ali Zardari here on Saturday, Malik said that prior permission is must for all parties to collect Fitrah.
He said extortion of money through 'parchi' system would not be allowed in Karachi, adding stern action was being taken against parchi mafia in the metropolis.
Malik said directives have been issued to fill the shortage of police personnel as well as resources, adding that 15,000 more policemen would be recruited in Sindh police.
Replying a question, Federal Adviser on Interior Affairs said that Multan's recent election was a trailer. PPP would also win the next election too, he added.
