Malik says won’t comment on Imran Farooq case

KARACHI: Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Thursday said he would not comment on Dr Imran Farooq case since the investigations into the murder were being carried out in a foreign country, Geo News reported.

Speaking to media, he said that a letter was written to the British government asking them to inform Pakistan about the progress in Dr Imran Farooq's murder case as the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) was the government’s ally.

He said the reports about the arrest of two people and their being in his custody were baseless. Malik said that his meeting with the MQM chief Altaf Hussain had been good.
