LAHORE: Dense fog in parts of Punjab for the third consecutive day prompted the Motorway police to suspend traffic from Lahore to Pindi Bhatian Interchange, Geo News reported Wednesday.
National and international flights remained affected at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport. Two flights for Karachi and Islamabad were cancelled while the Pakistan International Airline asked people to confirm their flights before leaving their homes for the airport.
The police advised people to refrain from driving on motorway due to zero visibility.
Police said drivers must switch on fog lights while traveling. The visibility on the Grand Trunk (GT) road was also low due to the thick fog.
