FBR, SBP agree to provide defaulters detail to ECP

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) have agreed to provide details of defaulter candidates to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Geo News reported.

A meeting of ECP, SBP and FBR officials was held here on Wednesday in which the election commission decided to scrutinize the candidates, who have not submitted asset details and tax returns, through FBR.

The commission has also sought details of dual nationality holders from Babar Awan.

Once in a statement, Babar Awan had said that he had information about the dual nationality holders.
