ASWJ sit-in, traffic to & from Hub Industrial Zone blocked

KARACHI: Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ)’s hundreds of activists led by Quddus Qadri and Jalil Qadri have staged a sit-in on the RCD Highway near Hub in protest against the arrests of 113 activists of outlawed outfits in Balochistan.

Sources said that Karachi-Balochistan road link via RCD Highway has severed due to the blockade of Hub River Bridge, while hundreds of vehicles up and down Hub Industrial Zone have queued up for want of a passage.

Security sources said that ASWJ activists have also forced the shopkeepers in the Hub Town market to shut down their outlets.
