LAHORE: President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif visited the residence of slain eye surgeon Dr. Ali and offered condolences to his father on Saturday, Geo News reported.
Talking to media men after offering condolence, Nawaz Sharif expressed sorrow on the demise of Dr. Ali Haider and shared grievance with his family. He termed the killing of Dr. Ali as a ‘brutal incident.’
He asked why the notice was not taken in the first place over killings of Hazara community members in Quetta. Had the action been taken on Alamdar road bomb blast the Hazara town tragedy would not have taken place, he added.
Nawaz further said that the deteriorating situation of Karachi, Quetta and tribal areas are in front of all.
On the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that the killers of Dr. Ali Haider would be arrested soon. He claimed that the situation of law and order in Punjab is better than other provinces.
