PPP sees ‘pre-planned’ move behind Karachi closure
KARACHI: Reacting over the forced closure of Karachi by unknown armed men, Pakistan People’s Party lawmaker Abdul Qadir Patel branded it as a pre-planned move.

Addressing a press conference held at the Chief Minister’s House, the MNA said that the city was being shut down through a ‘pre-planned’ move. However he didn’t corroborate his argument.

He said those who parted ways with the government were now creating an impression of its failure.

Patel said the Abbas Town tragedy should not be used for political point scoring. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Sindh Assembly Speaker, who also lost her loved ones in the horrific bombing, said that the government equally shares the agony of the bereaved families.
