ISLAMABAD: Rain, thundershower coupled with gusty winds is expected at scattered places of South Punjab, while at isolated places of federal capital, upper and central parts of the country during next 24 hrs.
A westerly wave is prevailing over Iran and adjoining areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan, and expected to affect different parts of the country during next three to four days, met office reported.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rain-thundershower associated with gusty winds is expected at scattered places of D.I. Khan, Bannu, Kohat and Malakanad divisions, while at isolated places of Peshawar divisions during next 24 hrs.
In Sindh, rain-thundershower associated with gusty winds is expected at scattered places of Hyderabad and Larkana divisions, while at isolated places of Karachi, Mirpurkhas and Sukkur divisions during next 24 hrs.
In Baluchistan, rain-thundershower associated with gusty winds is expected at scattered places of Makran, Kalat, Quetta and Zhob divisions, while at isolated places of Sibbi and Nasirabad divisions during next same time span.
Whereas in Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, rain/thundershower is expected at isolated places during next 24 hours.
The Maximum temperatures recorded at different places of the country are Dadu 42xC, Turbat 41xC, Chorr 40xC, Islamabad 29xC, Lahore 31xC, Karachi 35xC, Peshawar 31xC, Quetta 28xC, Skardu 17xC, Murree 17xC, Muzaffarabad 27xC, Gilgit 26xC, Faisalabad 34xC, Multan 35xC, Hyderabad 37xC.
The pollen count in Islamabad 438 per cubic meter whereas rainfall recorded during last 24 hours are Hyderabad 21 mm, Kakul 19 mm, Khuzdar 18mm, Parachinar 15mm, Rawalakot 14mm, Garidupatta and Jacobabad 12mm, Risalpur 10mm, D.G Khan 08mm, Rawalpindi, Muzaffarabad and Rohri 07mm, Padidan and Zhob 06mm, Chirat and Noorpur thal 04 mm, Islamabad, Dir, Saidu sharif, Malamjabba, Murree and Sukkar 03mm, Astore, Quetta and Larkana 02 mm.
