NA, Senate meet this evening ahead of presidential election

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly and Senate sessions have been convened in connection with the election of a new president Tuesday evening here, Geo News reported.

A handout issued here said that the Acting President on the advice of Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif has called separate sessions of the National Assembly and the Senate at 4:00 P.M. today (Monday).

A resolution will be moved in the National Assembly for giving it the status of a polling station for the presidential poll.
