Protest continues against Mastung carnage in different cities
KARACHI: Sit-ins were organised in different cities of the country to express solidarity with the families of those martyred in the Mastung bomb attack and the protesters who have taken to the streets in Quetta since then.

The protest organised by Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) on MA Jinnah Road on Wednesday was well-attended, as men, women and children, turned out in large numbers to voice their angst over the tragic incident. However, as is the expected but ignored norm in Karachi, the closing down of MA Jinnah Road led to a traffic mess.

A sit-in was staged outside the governor house in Lahore by the MWM and the Imamia Students Organization. Similarly, Islamabad, Multan, Nawabshah, Jackobabad, Dadu, Shikarpur and Hyderabad also saw people holding sit-in against the brutal killing of innocent people in the Mustung attack.

The protesters said they will continue their sit-ins until the Hazara community bury their dead and end their protest in Quetta.
