India ready to play Pakistan on neutral venue
MUMBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to revive cricketing ties with Pakistan.

According to reports in the India media, the BCCI is willing to play Pakistan on a neutral venue including the UAE. Reports suggest that the development took place following a telephone conversation between BCCI President N. Srinivasan and Pakistan Cricket Board (PBC) Chairman Zaka Ashraf.

The BCCI’s secretary told an Indian newspaper that “there is no window till 2015 to accommodate a full-fledged series but we can squeeze in a short series if a proposal from the PCB comes through.”

The teams last played a short series comprised of ODI and T20 matches in 2012-13 in India.

Meanwhile, PCB Chairman Ashraf has welcomed the decision of the BCCI.
