Ansar Burney declared Asia’s ‘Most Influential Human Rights Defender’
NEW DELHI: Chairman Ansar Burney Trust International, Ansar Burney has been conferred the ‘Most Influential Human Rights Defender Award’ by the Asian Human Rights Council and All India Council of Human Rights Liberties and Social Jusitce.

According to an official statement from the Trust, Ansar Burney is set to receive the Award at a ceremony scheduled to be held in New Delhi on December 10, which marks the United Nations Human Rights day.

Ansar Burney, who is an internationally known social worker from Pakistan, will be honoured in the recognition of his services rendered for the noble causes of peace and harmony and against the modern day slavery, human trafficking and terrorism.
